Known professionally as DJ AJ, Arjun Shah embarked upon his journey of becoming one of the industry’s most sought after artists at the age of 15. Converting his passion to his profession, he pursued a six-month certification course at Point Blank Music School in London and amassed knowledge in the field of music, production and remixing whilst playing at nightclubs in the area.
Whilst in college, Arjun won the ‘War of DJ’s’ competition at a national level for three years in a row and soon after he entered the industry, he was playing at some of the most popular nightclubs in Mumbai. One of the most versatile DJs’ of the cohort, he gets the crowds grooving to tunes from a number of different genres including hip-hop, R&B, Bollywood, techno, deep house, electro house, and progressive house, electronic dance music, and Punjabi bhangra music, amongst others. Over the years he has shared the stage with some of the most renowned international and national music artists including Maroon5, Coldplay, Enrique Iglesias, The Chainsmokers, John Legend, Arijit Singh, Mika Singh, Nucleya, Shaan, Salim & Sulaiman, Amaal & Armaan Malik amongst many others.
Today, his portfolio entails numerous prominent weddings of including that of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal, Shloka Mehta and Akash Ambani, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja as well Anushree Jasani and Parth Jindal to name a few. His clientele also includes large corporates along with high-profile NRI families and he has traveled across more than 20 countries to play at celebrations as well as concerts.
